The Springfield Flying Club is a non-profit organization, whose charter promotes recreational aviation. Member volunteers provide services and necessary maintenance. Annual dues provide the funds to pay for operating costs, improvements and equipment repairs.

Lyncrest Airport is owned and operated by the Springfield Flying Club. This allows us to grow and make improvements and achieve our goal of being the best privately owned airport in Manitoba. It is the home of a variety of aircraft including restored vintage aircraft, amateur built planes and rotorcraft. It is also the base of operations for COPA Flight 35, RAA Winnipeg Chapter and the Manitoba Ultralight Association. Lyncrest Airport is located on a 180 acre site with ample room to tie-down over a hundred aircraft and available space for hangars.

This is an exciting time to be a member of the Springfield Flying Club and a part of the team, facing the challenges and enjoying the rewards of successful recreational flying.

• By air: South east of Winnipeg just outside the Winnipeg control zone at N49 51 09 W96 58 17.
• Listed as CJL5 under Winnipeg International in the Canadian (VFR) Flight Supplement.
