- Year Round Socializing and exchanging information and stories with visiting
families, flying in from across Canada and USA.
- Volunteer community service activities, including
aerial searches for Springfield Safety Officer and RCMP, farmer crop surveillance for drainage etc, amateur
aerial photography, and other services as requested by community members.
- Donate flights in unique
or antique aircraft to raise funds for groups including: Springfield RCMP, DARE, Fire, Kinsmen, Pathfinders
Snowmoible association.

spring and summer. Everyone is welcome to explore these recreational aviation opportunities; many who do go
on to begin careers in the field of aviation, and the related fields of chemistry, math, physics,
meteorology, business management, engineering, pilots, geography, and communication; and new retirees are
inspired to explore the intellectually rewarding hobby of recreational aviation and aircraft building.

| Springfield Flying Club regular meetings are held at the Lyncrest Flight Centre
on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm from April to November. Check the Calender dates below for winter
meeting dates and times. |
COPA Flight 35 meeting times have been changed to 7:00pm on the first Tuesday of
each month from May to October at the Lyncrest Flight Centre. The meetings will precede the Springfield

RAA Manitoba regular meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30pm
at the RAA Final Assembly Building at the Lyncrest airport. For event details see the calendar

Morden Flying Club Flyday Fridays are on again for 2008 from June 6th till August 29th. Supper will be served from 5:30PM till 7:00PM. Ask any one who has attended the Friday night fly-ins. This is always a great time with an excellent menu. Join in for another great season of flying food and friendship. See you out at the Morden
